Best Foods For Healthy Body - Eating healthy and doing the right thing for our body is at the top of the agenda for a lot of us but the world is full of a lot of mixed information about what foods are healthy and what are not one, it’s hard to decipher what are the best foods and the worst foods. One minute we are told don’t eat more than this amount per week, next we are told to exceed that dose in a day. One minute something is a superfood and the next minute a cancer causing bomb! The fact is the perfect diet has not been found. Food science is a fast evolving area and one with much contention between scientists so I don’t know if the healthiest this or healthiest that will ever be agreed upon. Certain cultures seem to exhibit amazing youth and health and although it is somewhat location based diet is assumed to be a huge factor too. Cultures that eat a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits and meats tend to be seen as the healthiest but that being said it’s not been uncommon for cultures such as the inuit of North America to survive on a high fat diet and appear to be fairly healthy. I personally think the varied and fresh, whole foods, route is the way to go and the way to maintain a variety of minerals, vitamins and taste in a diet. So what are the healthiest foods? I guess you still want to know so lets see what some other publications have listed as the healthiest foods you can eat. Most agree un-processed natural foods with a mix of good fats, proteins, carbohydrates various antioxidants and nutrients and even natural sugars build a good and healthy diet. Put it this way, big mac and fries won’t be making any of the lists but I am sure every now and then as a treat it wouldn’t do lasting damage. Personally I follow a vegetarian diet of eggs, beans, vegetables and a little fruit and bread. I like my diet and feel great on it but feel I could do with some more variety in my vegetables at times and I still have a little body fat to lose before I will allow nuts to feature a little heavier in my day to day eating.
